# NikoCraft Server Rules — Official Version
Last updated: August 23, 2026

## PREAMBLE

These rules (hereinafter — the "Rules") establish the binding order for all participants of the NikoCraft server (hereinafter — "Players") and its administrative personnel (hereinafter — "Staff"). By connecting to the server, each Player acknowledges and unconditionally agrees to comply with these Rules. Ignorance of the Rules does not exempt from liability. The administration reserves the right to amend the Rules; amendments take effect upon publication on the official website.

## 1. GENERAL PROVISIONS

1.1. These Rules apply to all forms of interaction: the game itself, text and voice communication, the Discord server, and any official platform of the project.

1.2. The server adheres to the principle of "true survival": the majority of Player actions, including griefing and PvP, are not subject to restriction, provided they are performed within the bounds of the game's mechanics and do not violate the prohibitions established by Section 2.

1.3. The administration guarantees equal rights and equal enforcement of these Rules for all Players, regardless of their tenure, donations, or status.

## 2. PROHIBITED ACTIONS

### 2.1. Unfair Advantage (Cheating)
The use of any third-party software, modifications, or techniques granting a Player an unfair advantage over others is strictly prohibited.

> Liability: Permanent ban without appeal, at the discretion of the administration.

### 2.2. Malicious System Interference
Intentional disruption of the server's operation, clients of other Players, or deliberate destabilization of server performance (including, but not limited to, lag attacks and denial-of-service) is prohibited.

> Liability: Permanent ban, with the possibility of appeal if the incident is proven to be accidental.

### 2.3. Abuse of Server Errors (Bugs)
The exploitation of software errors (bugs) for personal gain, and the deliberate concealment of discovered errors, are prohibited. Players are obligated to report discovered bugs to the administration.

> Liability: Confiscation of obtained assets; repeated or serious abuse — permanent ban. Reporting a bug may entitle the Player to a reward.

### 2.4. Use of Unobtainable Items
The use, storage, and distribution of objects unavailable through legitimate survival gameplay (including administrative blocks and Creative-mode items) is prohibited. Players discovering such items must immediately report them to the administration.

> Liability: Player — confiscation and a 10-day ban; Staff — dismissal from position.

### 2.5. Advertising
Unsolicited promotion of third-party projects in public communication channels is prohibited, with the exception of invitations to other games and projects of the Classic network.

> Liability: 30-minute mute; repeated violations — ban without appeal.

## 3. ETHICS AND COMMUNICATION

3.1. The project seeks to maintain a friendly and respectful environment. Toxic behavior, insults, threats, and aggressive communication are prohibited.

3.2. Freedom of speech and information is guaranteed, subject to the following restrictions:

- a) Incitement and propaganda of social, racial, national, or religious hatred and enmity are prohibited.
- b) Propaganda of superiority on any grounds is prohibited.
- c) Coercion, whether direct or indirect, to express or renounce opinions is prohibited.

3.3. Restrictions on freedom of speech begin where Section 3.1 (Ethics) and Section 2.5 (Advertising) begin.

> Liability for breach of Section 3: Mute or ban (Players); warning or dismissal (Staff).

---

## 4. ADMINISTRATION AND MODERATION

4.1. The administration is vested with the authority to enforce the Rules and ensure the stable operation of the server.

4.2. Administrative actions, including the imposition of punishments via the automated systems (/punish, /spectate), must be:

- a) proportionate to the violation;
- b) substantiated by evidence (logs, screenshots, recordings);
- c) recorded in the appropriate logs or punishment system.

4.3. The abuse of administrative powers — including the unjustified issuance of items, unmotivated bans, or punishment without prior violations — constitutes grounds for disciplinary action and appeal.

4.4. The authority to impose additional punishment or to grant exceptions rests exclusively with the senior administration.

---

## 5. ACCOUNT POLICY

5.1. The use of additional accounts (alt-accounts) is permitted. However, the use of alt-accounts to circumvent an active punishment results in the extension of the primary sentence by at least one (1) week.

5.2. Each Player bears sole responsibility for the security of their account. Account compromise resulting in rule violations leads to liability for the account owner.

---

## 6. LIABILITY AND AMENDMENTS

6.1. Sanctions are applied in proportion to the severity of the violation, taking into account mitigating and aggravating circumstances.

6.2. The administration reserves the right to interpret and apply these Rules at its discretion, in accordance with the principles of fairness and proportionality.

6.3. These Rules may be amended unilaterally by the administration; such amendments become effective upon their publication.
